How can I become a follower of Jesus?

First, we have to ADMIT that we are a sinner in need of a savior.  The Bible says we have all sinned and fallen short of what we were created to be (Rom. 3:23).  Further, the Bible says if we continue in our sins, we will spend eternity apart from God in a place called Hell (Rom. 6:23).  Thus, we are in need of God’s forgiveness and grace.
 
Second, we have to BELIEVE what Jesus did on the cross can save us.  While we were sinners, Christ died for us (Rom. 5:8; John 3:16). He did this because he loves us. His sacrifice is what we need to be forgiven. The Bible also says salvation cannot come through being good enough. It must come through trusting in the work of Christ (Eph. 2:8).
 
Third, we have to COMMIT our lives to Jesus. The Bible says we must confess him as Lord, or master over our lives (Rom. 10:9), and be willing to trust him and live for him.
 
Are you ready to commit your life to Jesus? You can call out to him right now in prayer and ADMIT, BELIEVE, and COMMIT. He has promised he will save you and change your life (Rom. 10:13)!
