Our Vision Statement:
"Discovering..." Self-discovery is an ongoing process that takes place throughout the life of any person. Within a relationship with Christ, the process of sanctification takes place from the moment of salvation through the end of our lives. The act of learning about ourselves and about God is a constant journey of discovery. "...who we are..." As the image bearers of God, who we are is defined by who created us: God. Moreover, who we are to become is found in an active relationship with Jesus Christ. "Who we are" is only truly and wholly understood when we know who made us and who saves us. "...in Christ..." Jesus Christ is the means by which we experience salvation, the exemplar for moral living, and the resurrected, living Son of God. Everything that we do is both centered on Christ and intended to share the message of Christ with others. "...together." The mission of the church is intentionally a group effort. Fellowship and teamwork are two of God's methods of growing us into who he intends for us to be as Christians and the means by which the church performs its mission to share the Gospel. |
