CHURCH STAFF
BRIAN DEDMON
PASTOR
Brian was born in New Orleans, LA and was raised in Mississippi. In 2018, after more than a decade serving in student ministry and worship leadership, Brian and his family began their ministry in Belle Chasse, Lousiana. In June of 2020, Brian was appointed as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse. He lives in Belle Chasse with his wife, Laura, and two daughters. Brian is a PhD student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and also holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education, Master of Divinity in Christian Thought, and a Master of Theology from NOBTS. Brian's focus in ministry is developing confident Christians who share their faith through their lifestyle.
JENNIFER WADE
OFFICE ASSISTANT
Jennifer joined the staff at First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse in October of 2024 as our office assistant. Jennifer's role requires office reception, financial management, records, and more. She and her family began attending our church in 2019 and have been key volunteers and participants ever since. Jennifer lives in Jefferson Parish with her three sons.
DALTON PRESTON
STUDENT MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Dalton and his family joined members of First Baptist Church in June of 2024. During that time, Dalton has become increasingly involved in our student ministry. Dalton served the youth group of his former church and feels a calling to ministry. In the Fall of 2025, he expressed a desire to work with our student ministry in a more official capacity. In November of 2025, he was appointed as our director of student ministry.Dalton serves in the U.S. Coast Guard and lives in Belle Chasse with his wife Stephanie and three children.
KAYTLYNN KING
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Kaytlynn is a graduate of Louisiana Christian University and is a full-time school teacher in Plaquemines Parish. She joined our staff in November of 2025, filling a much-needed space in leadership for our children's ministry. Please contact Kaytlynn for information about our kid's ministry and to volunteer to serve.
BELLE CHASSE BAPTIST PRESCHOOL STAFF LEADERSHIP
LAUREN DABADIE
PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR
Lauren is a native of Belle Chasse who joined our staff as the director of Belle Chasse Baptist Preschool in 2020. In her job interview, Lauren stated that her desire was to "direct a preschool that shares the Gospel with the children." In her years of direction, our preschool has seen great financial security and has gained a reputation for quality care and friendly service.
JANICE PEREZ
ASSISTANT PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR
Janice has served on the preschool staff since 2022. After completing her degree in Education in 2024, she was promoted to the position of Assistant Director. Janice is also a native of Belle Chasse.
